26 Degrees
A song about the contrast between where you are and where you find yourself emotionally — and the way a journey can make familiar assumptions look different.
Live demo · Night Pages
What it is about
26 Degrees explores movement, distance and changing perspective. At its centre is the idea that a physical journey can become something more: a way of leaving one emotional state behind and seeing what remains when you arrive somewhere else.
The story behind it
It was the first release issued directly under the Night Pages name. It remains a demo, giving listeners an early glimpse of the wider songwriting project rather than presenting itself as a finished statement.
